Updated the chat-latest snapshot, which points to the latest model available in ChatGPT for Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users. We recommend leveraging the GPT‑6 model family for production API usage, but feel free to use this model to test the latest improvements for chat use cases. The underlying model snapshot will be regularly updated.

GPT-6 and Intelligent UI in ChatGPT

We’re introducing GPT‑6 with Intelligent UI in ChatGPT. ChatGPT can now combine text, visuals, and interactive elements to fit your question, from side-by-side comparisons and diagrams to tools you can use directly in the conversation, such as calculators, bill splitters, and games. It can choose the format automatically, and still use a simple text answer when that works best.

GPT‑6 can also begin answering while it continues to think or use tools, then add more findings without another prompt. You can start reading before the full answer is ready.

The rollout starts globally today for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise in the Chat tab, and expands to Free and Go starting tomorrow. Enterprise availability depends on workspace admin settings.

Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise use GPT‑6 Sol; Free and Go use GPT‑6 Luna. Intelligent UI is available from Instant through Extra High reasoning. The Pro reasoning option continues to use GPT‑6 Astra and doesn’t support Intelligent UI. The models powering Work and Codex aren’t changing with this release.

For eligible Business workspaces, GPT‑6 powered by GPT‑6 Sol is rolling out in Chat, subject to workspace access and supported clients.

For eligible Enterprise workspaces, GPT‑6 uses the existing GPT‑6 Sol access setting for Instant through Extra High. Admins can turn off access, and workspace and role permissions still apply. This release does not introduce a new admin preview period. Intelligent UI is available with GPT‑6 at Instant through Extra High on supported clients.
